Our Wedding

Bus Transportation

We met in 2022 on James's birthday, a fall Clemson game day. We have to give the credit to James's brother, Leland, for getting the two of us in the same place. As soon as saw each other, we immediately hit it off, talking for hours about anything and everything. It's safe to say by the end of the day, we knew that we would be seeing a whole lot more of each other.

Over the next few weeks, we enjoyed spending time together. We spent our first Christmas together at Ingleside, where James said "I love you" for the first time. Ingleside became a very special place to us.

While Olivia continued school at Clemson, James joined the Navy and went off to bootcamp. We sent letters to each other for months as our only way of communication.

We continued our long distance relationship over the next 2 years. James moved around the country with the Navy, living in San Diego, Chicago, Panama City Beach, and Destin. Olivia graduated Clemson and moved to Hartsville, SC to work for Sonoco Products Company.

On August 22, 2025, James proposed to Olivia in beautiful Beaufort, South Carolina.

We are now looking forward to celebrating our marriage with all of you at Ingleside, where it all started. We are also very excited to be nearing the end of our three plus years of long distance in our first home in Virginia Beach.

The Hills HoedownKick off the wedding weekend at our welcome party. Feel free to accessorize your look with all things country! Wedding DayWe kindly ask that guests wear formal attire. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit and tie, ladies are invited to wear mid-long length dresses of their choice. All events on our wedding day will take place outdoors, so please dress accordingly for weather and comfort.

Transportation

Optional chartered transportation will be available in the Georgetown area for travel to and from the wedding. Buses will depart at 4:00 PM and return at 10:30 PM. Pickup and drop-off location is the Hampton Inn at the Georgetown marina. Ample parking is also available at Ingleside for those who prefer to drive. Bus Transportation. Users: Please adhere to posted bus departure times. Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes before departure time. Drivers: Ingleside is a 25-30 minute drive from downtown Georgetown. Please plan accordingly to arrive at 4:30 if driving.
